The TextSizePro Module

The TextSizePro module offers all the advantages and simplicity of use associated with the textSize module but offers a powerful extension in functionality. This module allows you to set different Text Size ranges for different Panes in your Portal skin.

The TextSizePro module is a collaboration between DotNetDudes and the original creators of the Change Text Size code over at Dynamic Web Coding. This code, called Font Sizer DX, is quite flexible and can be used in a wide variety of situations, either to enable users to control text size throughtout your document, on major portions of your layout, or only one or a few discrete sections. The code retains the user's size selection in cookies.

What does this mean?

This provides the flexibility to better control the site display. Imagine .. the menu text stays the same size but the rest of the text on the Portal resizes within the bounds you set for the Portal. Or .. the menu resizes within a different, perhaps smaller range of variation than the rest of the text on the site .. or the text in the left column stays a fixed size .. The combinations are endless.

Check out our demos for some ideas!

On the page you are currently on the module is implemented as a normal TextSize standard module would be with Maximum, Minimum and Default text sizes entered in the module Settings. This affects all text on the page. Try resizing the text on this page for an example of how this works.

Content Pane Remains Fixed Size.
